  A good history book that is more western civilization than a full modern world history. This is a standard textbook used in our local school district for 9th grade. I would have hoped for more focus on the rest of the world as well as contributions and insight of other Countries and Empires such as China, Japan, Russia, Ottomans, Persians, and /5.
